Do you have an idea for a social / art project and are looking for funding, advice, or contacts within the Berlin University of the Arts?
Common Ground offers financial and other support to projects by, with, and for people who arrived in Berlin as refugees or asylum seekers. We are also looking to support diverse projects that deal with questions of displacement, exile, and discrimination against immigrants, which aim to raise awareness of these issues within the university and beyond.
We can offer up to 500€ to help fund and realize your project. Additionally, we can assist by organizing a space inside the university (at the earliest possible date; currently not possible due to the pandemic) or establishing contacts between you and the university (i.e. administration, students, initiatives, artists with similar interests). Our aim is to break down the institutional barriers for those who don’t find easy access to the UdK, and to enrich its public arena with new and relevant art and educational programs.
Apply until 31.03.2021 for funding and other support for projects that will take place between 01.04. and 30.09.2021.

PLEASE NOTE: After 31.03. we may still accept applications if the budget allows. The sooner you apply, the better the chances of getting your project funded!
